Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
To advance our economy and strengthen Germany’s competitiveness, we need new ideas — but also the right methods to turn these ideas quickly into concrete solutions and bring them into application.
IAA.prototype.club is such a method. It brings together companies, startups and other technology partners to jointly solve concrete challenges from transport, logistics and mobility. Based on real needs, new solution approaches, prototypes and, ideally, long-term partnerships can emerge.
This form of collaboration is particularly important for the mobility industry. Digitalization, automation, new drive technologies and intelligent transport systems are transforming the sector at high speed. Germany has strong companies, excellent research and a highly capable startup and technology landscape. The decisive factor is to bring these capabilities together and translate innovation into practice more quickly.
I am therefore pleased that the Federal Ministry of Transport is once again assuming patronage of IAA.prototype.club. The format demonstrates very concretely how new forms of collaboration can help make mobility more efficient, safer and more sustainable, while at the same time strengthening the innovative capacity of Germany as a business location.
I warmly invite companies and technology partners to get involved, open up challenges, enter into new collaborations and jointly develop solutions.
My special thanks go to the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) and prototype.club for realizing this format, as well as to all partners who contribute their ideas, challenges and technological expertise.
